The Design Process
Initial Consultation and Schematic Design
During this meeting Darling Concept & Design will discuss and collect all existing information about the proposed project such as floor plans, sketches and ideas you have. We'll review size requirements, establish a target budget. We'll answer any question you may have about the process. After this meeting we will prepare a contract for your review and signature. Once signed we will provide the first schematic floor plan and exterior elevation. During this phase the client may request two revisions to the floor plan/elevations. Once the floor plan design is approved by the client we'll move into the next phase.
Construction Documents and Permitting
Based on the clients written approval of the schematic design, Darling Concept & Design will prepare construction documents including structural engineering and engineer's stamp. Once you and your contractor have submitted for permit we remain involved with all building department requests until your permit is issued. We serve Orlando and Central Florida.
